Getting Started

My friend Linda and I have been having this discussion recently about blogging. What is it? Why do we need it? Do we start a blog? and so on........

Just reading about all the different blogs is a bit overwhelming.  Also full time job and not much time but here I go. Why not? I have some ideas about what I will write about but would love suggestions, comments etc.
